On Sunday, October 10, 2010, the Cypress Springs Mercedarian Prayer Center
will
Open Its’ Door
for an official Open House Celebration. When Sister Dulce
arrived in Baton Rouge nine years ago, no one knew the plan that the Lord had
for Baton Rouge. Today, we understand that plan and are thankful for the many
people who have helped bring His plan to completion.
We will also be celebrating the Founding Centennial 1910-2010 of the
Mercedarian Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament and the 50
th
Anniversary of Sister
Dulce Maria Flores as a Mercedarian Sister.
We would like to invite you to attend this wonderful celebration and join us in
thanksgiving as we give glory to God for all of the blessings He has bestowed
upon this Prayer Center.
Tours will be available of the Mercedarian Private Chapel, the Convent & the Ministry Center.
Refreshments following in the Dolphin Room of the Ministry Center

Brick Campaign Continues
The first order of personally, inscribed bricks will be delivered shortly and we look forward to having these special
memorials and inspirational messages as part of the Cypress Springs Mercedarian Prayer Center. Sister Dulce has al-
ways said that this Center belongs to God’s people and this Brick Campaign is important because it allows the people
to leave a permanent message and become a part of the “foundation” of this Ministry. We, as a people of God, have
the opportunity to publicly present our petitions of thanksgiving as we remember those who have left this world to
enjoy the rewards of our Father and/or to graciously thank Our Lord for the blessing we enjoy today.
You may join the hundreds who have already purchased a personally, inscribed brick. These bricks will be placed
prominently near the Mercedarian Private Chapel so that all who visit may include your petition in their prayers.
Just complete the form provided in this newsletter and return it with your remittance in the enclosed envelope.
