        Ignite Your Match •

            Matching Funds Campaign

We are excited to announce that a very generous donor

has pledged to match 100% all contributions received (up

to $1.7 million dollars) in 2011, which will pay off the

remaining construction-related debt of $3.4 million for the

        Cypress Springs Mercedarian Center.

What does that mean to you? It means that for every

dollar that you contribute, another will be matched. So a $5

        contribution becomes $10 – a $100 donation becomes $200

        –

a $1,500 contribution becomes $3,000 and so on and so on.

As you may know, the Cypress Springs Mercedarian Prayer Center

consists of three buildings: the Ministry Center, which houses day

Retreats, Spirituality classes, etc. and is where Sister Dulce visits with

those seeking her intercession for prayer and healing; theMercedarian

convent, which can house up to 12 nuns; and, the Mercedarian’s

Private Chapel of Divine Providence, a very quiet and uplifting place,

with beautiful stained glass and large plate glass windows overlooking

a serene and tranquil forested area.

Many evangelical events and programs take place at the Ministry

Center throughout the year. Sister Dulce conducts day retreats

and monthly spirituality classes for men and women. We also host

events such as the St. Joseph’s Altar, which shares the tradition of

honoring our saints; the Sedar Supper, which brings us, as Christians

and Catholics, back to our Jewish roots and helps us all to better

understand the significant interrelationships between the present

and our past; and, LaPosada, which teaches our children the true

meaning of Christmas. These events are aimed at reigniting the fire

in all lukewarm Christians as well as in our area’s cradle Catholics, all

who may have become complacent in their faith, via bringing

those who may have left the Church back to the table of

the Lord, or simply sharing information with those who

want to know more about Catholicism. This is how we, in

part, share our faith and invite others to know the Lord in a

more personal way. If you have yet to participate in any of

these facets of the Ministry Center, please visit our website

        at

or call us today to see

how you can begin rekindling your passion for Christ.

There are many more exciting plans for the future of the Ministry

Center, which will begin as soon as the current construction-related

debt is paid. And this is where you can help!

Now, is the time for you to pray and ask Papa (God our Father)

to guide you in your decision. Do you want to help the Ministry

Center in its’ ongoing efforts to save souls by bringing people back to

Our Lord? Do you want to help each struggling, hurt or seemingly

lost soul to better know, understand and deepen their love for Christ?

Or, what about those merely seeking His love, mercy, comfort and

        solace?

For your convenience, we have enclosed a self-addressed

contribution envelope for your donation of whatever amount you are

able to give. We thank you in advance for your prayerful consideration

and we also ask that, whether you are able to give monetarily or not,

please keep the Ministry Center in your daily prayers for which we

        are ever grateful.

Thank You and may God continue to bless you and your family!
